Footage circulating on TikTok captured the moment Timberlake, while swaying to the music, began adjusting his shirt. It quickly became apparent that a stage harness was causing discomfort, and the singer’s attempt to rectify the situation became the unintended highlight of the performance.
The incident drew comparisons to the infamous 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show, where Timberlake accidentally exposed Janet Jackson’s breast during a duet.
