This movie is all about being yourself, and it’s honestly a feel-good watch. Based on the classic kids’ book, it’s about a big bull who prefers to smell flowers than fight in the ring. John Cena really brings Ferdinand to life, making him a super lovable character.
It’s not just the bull though— Kate McKinnon as the weird goat Lupe totally steals the show. Their moments together are funny and give the movie a lot of heart.

12 Rounds is packed with that crazy, nonstop action vibe. John Cena plays a cop in New Orleans who’s gotta run through twelve intense challenges just to save his girl. There are stunts, explosions, car chases — stuff that keeps you glued and your heartbeat up.
The director, Renny Harlin (the same guy behind Die Hard 2), keeps things moving fast and tight. Cena’s all muscle and grit here, letting you enjoy his classic muscular hero self.
The coolest part: the filming actually happened in New Orleans, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, which adds a gritty realness to the whole thing.

Playing with Fire is a funny take on those tough-guy types you usually see. John Cena plays this fire superintendent who’s all serious and no-nonsense, but then he and his team have to deal with three wild kids they rescue from a blaze. Watching these macho firefighters try to handle chaos at home instead of on the fire line makes for some real laughs.
Cena’s deadpan delivery as the guy totally out of his depth is what makes it work.
Fun fact:they shot the movie in Vancouver, and they actually had real firefighters helping out to keep the firehouse stuff legit. those pros made sure the scenes felt real, not just Hollywood fake.
