The spark is the back-and-forth with Ryan when politics or beliefs pop up. It never gets mean, just spicy. And in 2012’s Season, you get a neat pop moment when Kim Kardashian shows up as herself, giving Mandy that star-struck beat the show does well.
Something Fun: Many episodes open on Mike’s “Outdoor Man” vlog— direct-to-camera riffs that became the show’s signature button before the story kicks in.

Disaster Movie is pure junk food. I’m not sugarcoating it. It sits at 1.9/10 on IMDb, and most jokes are quick spoofswings that miss. But if you like zanychaos from the Epic Moviecrowd, you’ll still snag a few dumb laughs.
Watch it late with friends. Talk over the misses. The pace is non-stop, the cameos keep rolling, and the references to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Iron Man, and Juno make the “so bad that it’s good” vibe land.
