Nicholas Hoult Spills on Why He’s Thrilled to Join the New Superman – Fans Can’t Wait

Nicholas Hoult, who is set to portray Lex Luthor in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, has expressed his enthusiasm for the new Superman and Lois Lane. Hoult, who was once considered for the role of Superman himself, is excited to see David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan bring these iconic characters to life.

“I’m very excited for people to see David’s [Corenswet] take on Superman, as well, because he’s brilliant. And Rachel [Brosnahan] as Lois, as well. There’s a lot of great components of that movie,” Hoult told Entertainment Tonight.

Gunn’s vision for Superman is a fresh take on the character, focusing on a more humanized and relatable version. The film will explore the challenges of balancing a superhero identity with a normal life.

The supporting cast for the film includes a talented ensemble, with Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Edi Gathigi as Mr. Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, and María Gabriela de Faría as the villain, The Engineer.

As fans eagerly await the release of the first trailer, excitement continues to build for this new era of DC films.
